Fort Sint Michiel lies in the Boka Sami neighborhood of the sea side village of St. Michiel.

It was probably built in 1701. It was one of 2 batteries guarding the bay. The other was situated on the northern side of the entrance to the bay.

Fort Sint Michiel is freely accessible and abandoned.

If you pay a visit to  the beach of Boka Sami, Make sure you stop by Fort Sint michiel on your way back.

If you want to visit this fort, we recommend you to do it by car or with a Bus Chiki, as the Konvooi doesn't come near this area.  But if you are planning to visit the Boka Sami beach, then make sure you swing by this beautiful Fort!
